Islamabad:Former US President Donald Trump has formally accepted the presidential nomination from the Republican Party, while Democrats, led by Joe Biden, have begun discussions following his decision not to run again as president.
Speaking at the Republican National Convention (RNC) in Milwaukee, Trump stated, “I am honored to accept your nomination for President of the United States. We will achieve an improbable victory and begin the four greatest years in the history of our country.”
Last week during a rally, a 20-year-old fired a shot, injuring his ear, and killed a pedestrian, his first speech since the incident.
