According to details provided by Provincial Minister of Industry and Commerce, Mir Ali Hassan Zehri, during a recent visit to Hub, a lead conference was convened with district officials to assess multiple developmental projects. Minister Mir Ali Hassan Zehri met with heads of various district departments in Hub, listening to their concerns while emphasizing the need for improved efficiency across all district offices.
Health and education remain our foremost priorities. Plans are underway to transfer 80 hospitals, including Jum Gulam Qadir Hospital, to Andes Hospital in Balochistan. Additionally, construction is set to begin on a 100-bed hospital in Hub district named after Shaheed Benazir Bhutto.
The developmental projects in Hub include initiatives for labor quarters’ modernization, upgrading of social security hospitals, and other necessary facilities for laborers in Hub City. Deputy Commissioner Hub, Rohana Gul Kakar, and Assistant Commissioner Ali Raza Khosa, along with other district officers, participated in the conference to review ongoing projects under various government departments.
Immediate reviews of ongoing developmental schemes under government departments were conducted to expedite work and ensure that no delays occur. No compromises will be tolerated in the public fund allocation; we are committed to achieving project completion within specified timelines and maintaining the highest standards of work quality.
The DC Complex in Hub is deemed critically essential and will receive swift approval. Funds have already been allocated for a seven-kilometer-long rainwater drain in Hub, and work will commence promptly. Furthermore, 600 schemes have been included in the budget for the modernization of Hub Town.
A sum of 1 billion rupees has been allocated for the fisheries sector in Balochistan to enhance fishing facilities, ensuring betterment for the fishing community. Any officer found negligent in their duties will face strict disciplinary action. It’s time for everyone to pull up their socks and work diligently to bring about the necessary changes in Hub.
