Quetta:In a grim discovery, a dead body wrapped in plastic was found near Link Road in Kuchlak, Quetta. According to police sources, SHO Kuchlak Muhammad Naseer Awan received information about a suspicious black-colored box near the western bypass on Link Road. Upon arrival with other officials, the area was cordoned off, and the Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) was called in.
Upon opening the locked box, the police uncovered a body wrapped in plastic. The police immediately transferred the body to the hospital for identification and necessary procedures after recognizing it as a deceased person. Police disclosed that the victim was a 17-year-old boy who had been shot in the face by unidentified assailants before being wrapped in plastic, placed in the box, and left near Link Road. The perpetrators fled the scene after committing the crime.
According to medical authorities, the body appears to be approximately three days old. The police have initiated further investigations into the incident to apprehend the culprits and ascertain the motive behind the brutal killing.
