Dacoits Attack Police Checkpost in Ghotki, 2 Policemen Martyred

Ghotki:In a tragic incident in Ghotki, dacoits launched an attack on Police Checkpost No. 46, resulting in the martyrdom of two police officers. According to SSP Ghotki, Samir Noor, more than a dozen members of a criminal gang armed with modern weaponry and a rocket launcher carried out the assault near the boundaries of Thana Aandul Sandrani.

The deceased officers were identified as Zahid Tahim and Abdul Qadir Mehr. Police responded with retaliatory fire, causing injuries to the dacoits.

SSP Noor stated that a large police contingent has been mobilized to pursue the dacoits.
