Daavi Tribe Elders Denounce Baseless Allegations, Call for Law Enforcement against Peace Disruptors
Quetta:Respected elders of the Daavi tribe, Master Roohullah and Haji Khudai-e-Dost, have clarified that there is no connection between the Daavi tribe and the murder of Abdul Ghaffar. They spoke during a joint press conference at the Quetta Press Club on Thursday.
They emphasized that certain elements are falsely accusing the Daavi tribe of the murder without any evidence or investigation. They called upon the provincial government and the District Police Officer of Harnai to bring those who disrupt peace in the Karbala locality to justice.
The elders mentioned that the deceased Abdul Ghaffar was from Kunduz province in Afghanistan and had served in the Afghan army. He was found involved in several illicit activities upon his arrival in Pakistan. They particularly highlighted the peaceful town of Harnai, especially the Karbala area, which has been destabilized by the actions of Abdul Ghaffar’s sons and others.
“Like other tribes, the Daavi tribe could not escape the clutches of these nefarious elements who are accustomed to looting motorcycles, mobile phones, cash, and extorting money at gunpoint,” they said. “The Daavi tribe has also lodged FIRs against these criminals.”
Following Abdul Ghaffar’s murder, without any evidence or investigation, Abdul Rab Agha’s sons falsely accused the Daavi tribe, which has no basis in reality. “We appeal to the Chief Minister of Balochistan, the Corps Commander, IG FC, IG Police, and the Chief Justice of the Balochistan High Court to take immediate action against Abdul Rab Agha’s sons, particularly those responsible for disturbing the peace in Pishin, especially in the Karbala area.”
In response to a question, they stated that despite informing the Deputy Commissioner about all matters, they are unable to take action against these individuals. They also mentioned that there are 21 FIRs registered against Abdul Ghaffar and he was also an absconder.
