Customs Seizes Fake Indian Currency Worth Millions at Karachi Airport

Karachi:Customs authorities at Karachi Airport have seized fake Indian currency worth millions of rupees from a passenger during an operation. According to the spokesperson for Pakistan Customs, the passenger, Muhammad Kamal, was traveling on Fly Dubai flight FZ-330 to Dubai and then connecting to Dhaka on flight FZ-523.
The passenger was intercepted by Customs officials at the international departure hall, where a search of his bag led to the recovery of thousands of counterfeit Indian currency notes. The seized fake notes included 5,000 Indian rupee notes, each with a denomination of 500 rupees. The total value of the counterfeit currency exceeded 8 million rupees.
The Customs spokesperson confirmed that the fake currency had been confiscated, and further legal action has been initiated in accordance with the law.
