Quetta:Under the leadership of Chief Minister Mir Sanaullah Zehri, the Government of Balochistan has decided to organize various cultural events aimed at promoting the province’s rich cultural heritage and boosting tourism. A comprehensive meeting of the Department of Culture, Tourism, and Archaeology was chaired by the Chief Minister to discuss organizational matters.
Key officials including the Chief Secretary, Secretary Finance, and Secretary Culture, Tourism, and Archaeology participated, receiving detailed briefings on administrative arrangements and departmental plans. The meeting concluded with a decision to initiate practical measures for the effective promotion of local culture and traditions.
Upcoming events include a Cultural Festival in Ziarat at the end of next month, an Independence Day debate in August, and plans for the Balochistan Literature Festival in the first month of the coming year, all under the auspices of the Department of Culture, Tourism, and Archaeology. These initiatives aim to highlight Balochistan’s diverse cultural tapestry and historical significance on a broader platform.
