Cricket Fans Display Enthusiasm as Champions Trophy Tickets Sell Out Quickly in Pakistan

Peshawar:Cricket fans across Pakistan are showing extraordinary excitement as tickets for the upcoming Champions Trophy event, set to take place next month, have been sold out for the first three matches. According to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), tickets for the matches between Pakistan and New Zealand, Australia and England, and Pakistan and Bangladesh have all been fully sold. The PCB had made 30% of the tickets available for online purchase, which were quickly snapped up by fans eager to attend the prestigious event.
The Champions Trophy will begin on February 19, with the opening match scheduled between Pakistan and New Zealand in Karachi. Following that, Australia will face England in Lahore on February 22, and Pakistan will play against Bangladesh in Rawalpindi on February 27.
The PCB confirmed that tickets for the second phase of the event will go on sale on February 3. A spokesperson for the PCB commented on the overwhelming response from fans, noting that the rapid sell-out of the first phase of tickets is a clear indication of the public’s keen interest in the tournament.
“The PCB is committed to providing as many spectators as possible the opportunity to watch the matches live,” the spokesperson added.
It is also worth mentioning that all of India’s matches in the Champions Trophy will be held at a neutral venue in Dubai.
