Corruption Scandal Uncovered at Balochistan Education Board, Anti-Corruption Department Launches Investigation
QUETTA:A major corruption scandal has emerged at the Balochistan Education Board, leading the Anti-Corruption Department to initiate an investigation into the irregularities. According to Abdul Wahid Kakar, Director General of Anti-Corruption in Quetta, board officials are accused of selling examination centers and granting additional marks to F.Sc. students in exchange for money.
The Anti-Corruption Department has requested the full records of examination centers from the past two years. Furthermore, the department has also demanded a list of staff members involved in the examination process for the 2023-2024 academic year. In addition, the Board has been directed to provide answer sheets of 15 students for further scrutiny.
The investigation is underway, and authorities are working to uncover the extent of the misconduct and hold the responsible individuals accountable.
