CM Sarfraz Bugti Applauds Pink Scooty Program, Says Empowered Daughters Are the Future of Balochistan

Quetta:Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, expressed heartfelt joy after seeing a young woman confidently riding a scooter on the streets of Quetta, calling it a dream turned into reality. In a statement shared on social media, the CM said witnessing daughters with such independence and self-confidence is a proud and emotional moment for him.
“A few months ago, we dreamed of empowering our daughters to stand on their own feet — today, that dream is becoming a reality,” Bugti said. He emphasized that the **Pink Scooty Program** is not just a government campaign, but a **beacon of hope** for every girl who aspires to move forward, make her own decisions, and shape her own destiny.
He reiterated the government’s commitment to expanding this mission across all parts of Balochistan — from cities to towns and villages — so that every daughter, no matter where she lives, enjoys the **same freedom, confidence, and facilities** that are now visible in Quetta.
“The Balochistan government firmly believes that no society can progress without empowering its women,” he stated. “The Pink Scooty Program is a reflection of this belief, and it will continue to expand in the future.”
The Chief Minister also appealed to **parents, teachers, and all segments of society** to support their daughters in turning their dreams into reality by encouraging their education, employment, and mobility. “Only by doing so can we ensure their active and meaningful contribution to the progress of society,” he concluded.
