CM Balochistan Sarfaraz Bugti Condemns Terrorist Attack in Gwadar, Demands Accountability for Silence on Innocent Killings

Quetta:Chief Minister of Balochistan, Mir Sarfaraz Bugti, has strongly condemned the recent terrorist attack in the Kalmat area of Gwadar, where innocent passengers were targeted and killed based on their identity. In a statement issued from Quetta, Bugti called the act of pulling passengers off the bus and killing them “heinous and cowardly.”
He further emphasized that the terrorists had trampled upon Balochistan’s values of hospitality and peace by committing such a brutal act. “Targeting innocent civilians after identifying them and then killing them is an act of savagery and an unforgivable crime,” Bugti said. He assured that the nation’s unwavering resolve against terrorism cannot be weakened by such acts, adding that the government stands with the families of the deceased in their sorrow.
In his statement, Bugti questioned the silence of those who call for protests and sit-ins for political reasons, asking why they remain silent on such brutal attacks. “Why are those who remain silent on the killings of innocent workers not speaking out? Silence is often considered consent,” he stated. Bugti also indicated that this silence reveals who is supporting whom. He affirmed that the fight against hardcore terrorists would continue with full force until they are brought to justice.
