CM Balochistan Mir Sarfaraz Bugti Reaffirms PPP’s Commitment to Resolving Issues of Balochistan

Quetta:Chief Minister of Balochistan, Mir Sardarfaraz Bugti, has expressed that the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) government will free Balochistan from the whirlpool of issues and the scourge of terrorism, ensuring that the common Baloch person receives their rightful dues at their doorstep. Speaking at the central ceremony marking the 46th death anniversary of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto in Garhi Khuda Bakhsh, Bugti emphasized that PPP has always stood by the oppressed and will continue to be a strong wall against terrorists and their facilitators.

The Chief Minister highlighted that women in Balochistan are granted exemplary respect and honor, mentioning that for the first time in history, the PPP government has appointed five women as Deputy Commissioners, while four women are part of the provincial cabinet. He also made it clear that women involved in terrorism or aiding terrorists will face a strong stance from PPP.

Bugti reaffirmed the party’s commitment to safeguarding the country’s sovereignty and stated that PPP will defend the nation by offering sacrifices, just as the leaders of PPP, including Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, Shaheed Benazir Bhutto, and President Asif Ali Zardari, have done in the past. He further emphasized that the people of Balochistan’s issues will be resolved at their doorstep, ensuring peace and prosperity for the province.

In his speech, the Chief Minister also stated that the large number of people from across the country attending the event is a testament to the enduring legacy of the Bhutto family. He reiterated that under the leadership of PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the challenges faced by Balochistan will be eradicated, and the province will be guided towards a path of peace and development.

Bugti also commended PPP’s track record of addressing the issues of Balochistan’s people, citing the *Balochistan Rights Package* and the *Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Scholarship Program* as shining examples of the party’s commitment to the region. He concluded by stressing that PPP has always embraced the people of Balochistan and will continue to stand by them with the same spirit.
