Quetta:A violent clash occurred late last night in the Mahlebi area of Qalat between security forces and terrorists, resulting in the death of 10 individuals, including a sub-inspector, Levies personnel, and a tribal leader.
According to the Levies Control Room, four Levies personnel were killed in the encounter: Sepoy Ehsanullah, Sepoy Ali Akbar, Sepoy Rehmatullah, and Sepoy Naseebullah. Police Sub-Inspector Huzoor Bakhsh was also killed. Tribal leader Malik Zabar Mohammad Hasni lost his life in the attack. Additionally, two civilians were killed at Malik Hotel.
The total death toll from the attack is reported to be 10. Five Levies personnel, including an Assistant Commissioner, were injured and have been transferred to hospitals in Khuzdar and Quetta for treatment.
