Citizens in Orangi Town Overpower Dacoits, Police Transfers Them to Hospital

Karachi:In a display of swift citizen action, residents of Orange Town apprehended two dacoits, subjecting them to violence before police intervened and transferred the culprits to a hospital.

According to details, near the public square of Iqbal Market in Orange Town Sector 11 1/2, two dacoits fell into the hands of enraged citizens. Both dacoits were targeted with violence by the residents.

Upon receiving information, the police from Iqbal Market station promptly arrived at the scene and rescued both dacoits from the clutches of the furious citizens, transferring them to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medical assistance.

According to a Karachi Police spokesperson, the dacoits identified as 26-year-old Shah Nawaz, son of Shazad, and 27-year-old Aamir, son of Kamal, sustained injuries due to citizen violence. Upon arrest, a pistol with ammunition was recovered from the suspects. Further investigations into the incident are underway by the police.
