Mumbai:Bollywood actor Chunky Pandey recently shared a hilarious and unexpected incident from the early days of his career, revealing how he was once invited to an event, only to find himself at a funeral.

During an appearance on *The Great Indian Family Show*, Chunky Pandey recalled how, in the beginning of his career, he would attend almost any event that came his way — whether it was a wedding, a birthday, a child’s first haircut ceremony, or even a funeral. He admitted that his early income was largely dependent on attending such events.

In one particular incident, an event organizer called him up and promised a good amount of money if he attended an event, asking him to wear white clothes. When Chunky arrived at the venue, he was surprised to see many people dressed in white standing outside. As he entered, he noticed all eyes were on him, and people began whispering, “That’s Chunky Pandey,” which made him feel awkward.

The situation became clearer when he saw a coffin and realized, to his horror, that he had mistakenly walked into someone’s funeral. He thought he had made a huge error by attending a mourning ceremony instead of a celebratory one. However, shortly after, the organizer pulled him aside and reassured him, saying, “Don’t worry, sir, your payment is ready, but the family has requested that if you cry, you will be paid even more.”
