Islamabad:Chinese Prime Minister Li Qiang held a significant meeting with Pakistan’s military leadership, including the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee and the heads of the armed services. The discussions focused on reaffirming the longstanding ties between China and Pakistan and exploring ways to further strengthen and expand these relations.
Key topics included defense cooperation and counter-terrorism efforts, with Prime Minister Li commending the role of Pakistan’s armed forces in the fight against terrorism. He also assured Pakistan of China’s full support and assistance in combating terrorism.
Prime Minister Li Qiang is currently in Pakistan to participate in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit, highlighting the importance of regional collaboration and security.
