Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur Announces Development Projects Across All Districts

Dera Ismail Khan: Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Ali Amin Khan Gandapur, chaired a meeting in Dera Ismail Khan to review ongoing and upcoming development projects in the region. He announced that development projects would be launched in all districts of the province on an equal basis.
During the meeting, a detailed overview of the annual development program was presented, highlighting the 19 ongoing major projects in Dera Ismail Khan, with a total cost of 70 billion rupees. The current fiscal year’s budget has allocated 6.1 billion rupees for these projects, of which 724 million rupees have already been released.
Additionally, 25 new important projects, costing 23.8 billion rupees, have been included in the provincial annual development program for Dera Ismail Khan. The budget for these projects in the current fiscal year is 1.4 billion rupees.
Among the 12 priority projects selected for this year are the establishment of a Girls Cadet College, a satellite center for Peshawar Institute of Cardiology, a burn center, cath lab, construction of flyovers, establishment of a Girls Commerce College, a new building for the educational board, and the relocation of the Tank Adda. Other priority projects include the construction of watercourses for Gomal Zam Dam, district development plans, and sports projects. A budget of 357 million rupees has already been allocated for the construction of flyovers.
The Chief Minister expressed satisfaction with the overall progress of these projects and directed the relevant authorities to ensure timely completion of these public welfare initiatives. He emphasized that development projects would be prioritized in merged and underdeveloped districts, and unnecessary delays in public welfare projects should be avoided.
