Quetta:Balochistan Chief Minister Sardar Yar Muhammad Rind has pledged that those seeking to disrupt the integrity of Pakistan will not be allowed to roam freely on the streets of Balochistan. In a speech delivered at a ceremony at the Central Police Office in Quetta, Rind emphasized his commitment to safeguarding every inch of Pakistan’s territory.
He criticized the practice of bringing Baloch women onto the streets under the guise of protest, describing it as contrary to the nation’s traditions. Rind vowed to defend Pakistan against any attempts to fragment it, and asserted that the province’s police, levies, and Frontier Corps (FC) would be further strengthened.
The Chief Minister highlighted that violence in the name of the Baloch nationalist cause has been ongoing since 2000. He accused some groups of using protests as a cover for their disruptive activities and criticized the misuse of social media to promote subversive agendas.
While expressing support for dialogue, Rind firmly stated that he would not tolerate any actions that threaten the country’s unity. “We will defend every inch of our homeland, even if it means making significant sacrifices,” he declared.
