Chief Election Commissioner, Members Face Complaint in Supreme Judicial Council

Islamabad: A complaint has been filed in the Supreme Judicial Council against the Chief Election Commissioner and members of the Election Commission.
According to sources, the complaint has been jointly filed by Haleem Adil Sheikh, Justice (Retd.) Noorul Haq Qureshi, and Shabir Ahmed. The complaint was submitted via postal mail.
The complaint alleges that the Chief Election Commissioner and members have failed to fulfill their constitutional responsibilities. It calls for their removal if allegations are proven in the inquiry.
This development marks a significant legal challenge for the Election Commission amidst ongoing scrutiny.
