Chaman:Residents of Chaman have expressed grave concerns in a recent statement, accusing KESC of turning their lives into a constant struggle. They highlighted prolonged, unannounced power outages lasting up to 18 hours amid scorching heat, affecting areas like City 2 and Bai Pass Feeder among others. The erratic power schedule has left households uncertain about their daily routines.
Based on experimental data, the electricity timetable has disrupted electronic appliances of domestic users. Water supply has also been severely impacted, with tankers now costing between Rs. 2500 to Rs. 3000. Business centers and schools have been severely affected by the power cuts, significantly disrupting their operations.
Meanwhile, consumers are increasingly shifting to solar panels due to KESC’s hefty bills and regular price hikes. The Chief of KESC has been urged to take note of the deteriorating situation.
