Bushra Bibi Vows to Stand for Imran Khan’s Release Till Her Last Breath

Islamabad: Bushra Bibi, the wife of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, has vowed to stand for her husband’s release until her last breath, urging party workers to continue their protests. Speaking to a large gathering at Burhan Interchange, Bushra Bibi expressed her unwavering commitment, stating, “I will remain here until my last breath, and I am confident that the Pashtun community, known for its dignity and honor, will stand with us until the end.”
In her emotional speech from a container, Bushra Bibi told the crowd, “My brothers and sisters, until Imran Khan is back with us, we will not end this protest. Even if no one else stands with us, I will remain here, and I will not leave.”
She emphasized that the struggle was not just for her husband, but for the future of the country and its leadership. “This is not just about my husband; this is about the future of this nation and its leaders,” she said.
Bushra Bibi also called upon the people of Pakistan, particularly the Pashtun community, to remain steadfast. “I am confident that the Pashtun people, a community known for its honor, will never abandon us,” she added. She ended her speech by chanting “Allahu Akbar,” inspiring the crowd.
In a separate video message recorded in her car, Bushra Bibi urged the public to join the protest in Islamabad starting November 24. “On the orders of Imran Khan, thousands of peaceful citizens are removing obstacles and heading to Islamabad,” she said.
She appealed to those who had not yet joined the movement: “If you haven’t yet, come to Islamabad for the future of your country. This is a question of the future of Pakistan.”
