Bushra Bibi Urges PTI Workers to Wait for Imran Khan’s Release Before Making Any Concessions
Islamabad: Bushra Bibi , the wife of PTI founder Imran Khan, addressed the party’s supporters at an ongoing protest, urging them not to accept any concessions until Imran Khan is released. She reiterated that the protest plan would not change until Khan personally instructs them to do so.
Speaking to the crowd, Bushra Bibi said, “The plan will remain unchanged until Khan comes out and tells us what to do. No matter the pressure, we will not back down. Khan had said that if he speaks from inside, you should not listen. We will wait for him to come out and speak directly to the people.”
She emphasized that the protesters would not enter the Red Zone, but would instead stage a sit-in at D-Chowk. “Once we reach D-Chowk, we will wait for Khan’s next directive,” she stated. She also urged the workers to remain peaceful and avoid any confrontation with the authorities, emphasizing the safety and well-being of everyone involved, including women and children.
“We trust the administration will also remain peaceful. Please ensure that our families, elders, and children are treated respectfully,” she added, expressing hope that all would show restraint.
