Bushra Bibi Breaks Down in Court, Claims Injustice Prevails

Rawalpindi: During a court appearance regarding her husband Imran Khan’s ongoing legal battles, Bushra Bibi expressed her despair over the judicial process, stating, “There is no justice here.” Overcome with emotion, she cried in the courtroom as she voiced her frustrations.
Addressing the judges, Bushra Bibi lamented that the judiciary has been inflicting injustice for the past nine months against both herself and her husband, the founder of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party. She asserted that they have been wrongfully punished across Pakistan.
“I did not come here for justice,” she stated, highlighting her lack of faith in the legal system. She also mentioned that her belongings, including a blanket, were left in the car, adding, “I am ready to go to jail whenever you say.” Criticizing the legal proceedings, she accused her lawyers of merely wasting time.
Bushra Bibi questioned the humanity of the judges present, asking, “Doesn’t anyone see the human being inside?” Concluding her remarks, she declared, “I will not come to this court again. Only injustices happen here.”
