Islamabad:Renowned Pakistani actress Bushra Ansari recently revealed an interesting anecdote about late senior actor Qazi Wajid, who once suggested that she marry fellow actor Javed Sheikh.
Bushra Ansari and Javed Sheikh appeared together on a morning show on Samaa TV, where they discussed various topics, including their long-standing friendship and professional collaboration. During the conversation, Bushra shared a humorous story about how Qazi Wajid once privately advised her to marry Javed Sheikh.
Bushra recalled that Qazi Wajid, knowing she had separated from her previous husband, suggested that she and Javed Sheikh make a good couple. Upon hearing this, Bushra laughed and jokingly responded that Javed Sheikh was not the type to settle down. To this, Qazi Wajid humorously called her “impolite.”
Continuing the story, Bushra mentioned that she later called Javed Sheikh to inform him about the “proposal” from Qazi Wajid. Javed Sheikh, upon hearing the suggestion, also laughed it off.
Bushra further shared that during a dinner gathering at her home a few months later, Qazi Wajid, with a playful wink, again advised her to consider marrying Javed Sheikh, continuing to push his suggestion with a smile.
Both Bushra Ansari and Javed Sheikh have been working together since the early days of Pakistan Television (PTV) and share a deep, longstanding friendship. Recently, their chemistry in the popular drama *Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum* as Shagufta and Iftikhar has earned them widespread acclaim.
