BSO Urges Baloch Students to Join Struggle for National Survival Amid Rising State Repression

Quetta:The central spokesperson of the Baloch Students Organization (BSO) expressed deep concern over the recent incidents of enforced disappearances and the increasing state aggression in Balochistan. He stated that the Baloch people’s democratic and political struggle cannot be weakened by brutal state oppression, emphasizing the need for Baloch students to become part of an organized political and conscious movement to play a decisive role in the fight for the survival of the Baloch nation.
In a statement, the spokesperson highlighted that Balochistan has been facing severe political and human rights crises for the past two decades due to the state’s policy of violence. Despite this, the state continues to persist with its childish use of force instead of learning from past mistakes.
He further explained that the recent public unrest in Balochistan, emerging from the suppression of human rights and widespread fear, has led to the mobilization of the Baloch people against state violence. However, the state’s efforts to crush democratic movements and create a climate of fear have intensified, resulting in the abduction of thousands of political activists and ordinary citizens. Additionally, extrajudicial killings and the dumping of mutilated bodies have been on the rise.
The spokesperson pointed out that historically, Baloch students and youth have been at the forefront of resisting state repression. In the current unrest, Baloch youth have demonstrated their commitment to this legacy by taking a strong stand against any form of tyranny. However, they are now increasingly becoming the primary targets of the state’s genocidal policies. The spokesperson warned that the state’s actions, including the forced disappearances of Baloch youth, targeted killings, militarization of educational institutions, and suppression of political and conscious movements, are escalating rapidly.
The BSO representative criticized the ruling powers for attempting to close all democratic and political avenues through the use of force, arguing that this will only worsen the crises and contradictions in the region. He reiterated that state oppression cannot weaken the democratic and political struggle of the Baloch people. Instead, each assault by the state military will further strengthen the Baloch people’s resistance consciousness and fortify their resolve.
The BSO strongly condemned the state’s genocidal policies and demanded that the state aggression in Balochistan be immediately stopped. The spokesperson also called on Baloch youth to take an active role in the political and democratic struggle, reminding them that the BSO has always been the guardian of their political and conscious movements. The organization urged Baloch students to join the national struggle and play their decisive part in the fight for the survival of the Baloch nation.
