BSO Pachar Criticizes Balochistan CM’s Action on Kech Recruitment Scandal as a “Charade”

Turbat:The spokesperson of Baloch Students Organization (BSO) Pachar Turbat Zone has criticized the recent action taken by the Chief Minister of Balochistan against the education department officials of Kech district, calling it nothing but a “drama.” The spokesperson accused the government of misleading the public by exonerating key officials, including the Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Kech and other favored officers, while targeting the committee members.

In a statement, the BSO Pachar spokesperson highlighted that the inquiry officer’s recommendations clearly held the DC of Kech, who also served as the head of the district recruitment committee, responsible for illegal and meritless appointments. However, instead of addressing the core issue, the Balochistan Chief Minister’s actions appeared aimed at protecting the DC and shifting the blame onto committee members, which the organization has termed as unjust.

The BSO Pachar spokesperson rejected these actions as unfair and called for disciplinary proceedings against all the responsible parties, including the committee chairman and the DC of Kech. They warned that, should the government fail to take meaningful action, the BSO Pachar would resort to protests.

The spokesperson also criticized the government’s silence on the role of the DC Kech, asserting that this move further illustrated the government’s attempt to deceive the public. According to the BSO Pachar, under the supervision of the DC of Kech, the district’s recruitment committee had severely undermined the merit system for contracting employees, and the current government, by failing to address this, was engaging in deceptive practices.

The BSO Pachar emphasized that the current corrupt administration, which allegedly thrives on bribery and misconduct, should not be absolved of its responsibility. The organization demanded that new administrative leaders be appointed to form a new recruitment committee that will ensure merit-based appointments, highlighting the necessity of transparency and fairness in recruitment processes.
