The incident occurred when Bilal, reportedly in a fit of rage, attacked the buffalo with a sharp object, severing its tongue. The buffalo’s owner, Muhammad Nazir, filed a complaint at the Shahpur police station, leading to Bilal’s immediate arrest. Animal rights activists have condemned the incident, calling for strict punishment against perpetrators of such heinous acts.
