BNP Leaders Demand Release of Innocent Baloch Detained by Authorities
Quetta:In a recent development, leaders of the Balochistan National Party (BNP) have formally submitted a petition to the Deputy Commissioner (DC) and other officials, demanding the release of innocent Baloch individuals who have been detained. The delegation included Musa Baloch, the party’s Central Labor Secretary; Ahmed Nawaz Baloch, the Central Human Rights Secretary and former member of the Balochistan Assembly; and Gulam Nabi Mari, the District President of Quetta and a member of the Central Executive Committee.
Also present were Mir Jamal Langoo, the District General Secretary, along with senior members Mir Nazeer Ahmed Langoo, Habibullah Langoo, Haji Abdul Malik Langoo, Haji Abdul Raouf Qamberani, and Master Abdul Rahman Langoo. The party’s legal advisor, Barrister Raja Javed, was also in attendance.
The BNP leaders emphasized that their party, being a political, democratic, and progressive nationalist group, has consistently advocated for the rights of Baloch individuals unlawfully detained. They asserted that the BNP will not abandon its people in these challenging times and called on the district administration to take immediate action for the release of those detained.
