BNP Condemns Brutal Crackdown on Protesters and Arrest of Political Activists

The central spokesperson of the Balochistan National Party (BNP) issued a statement condemning the recent events in the province. According to the statement, the brutal incidents of human rights violations escalated after five unarmed Baloch protesters were martyred during a peaceful protest. When the protesters, led by Bibi Marang Baloch, were sitting in a sit-in, the government resorted to further barbaric violence by taking the bodies of the martyrs into custody, a clear demonstration of state brutality.

The BNP spokesperson stated that the government’s actions, including the arrest and subsequent disappearance of Marang Baloch and four other women, reflect the confusion and shameful behavior of the authorities. The whole of Balochistan is in mourning and anger, while the government seems to be deliberately provoking the public and ruthlessly violating human rights.

The BNP demanded the immediate release of Marang Baloch, the four Baloch women, and political workers, calling for them to be brought to their rightful place and set free without further delay.
