Blast in Kohat House Claims Two Women Lives, Two Children Injured

Kohat:A tragic explosion occurred inside a house in the Muhammad Zai area of Kohat district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, resulting in the deaths of two women and injuries to two children, including a woman. According to Rescue 1122, the incident took place in the morning, and the emergency response team promptly reached the site.

Rescue officials reported that the injured victims were immediately transferred to the District Headquarters Hospital in Kohat. However, despite the best efforts of medical staff, two of the injured women succumbed to their injuries during transport.

Police teams also arrived at the scene shortly after the incident and began their investigation. According to initial reports, the explosion seems to have been caused by a hand grenade, but authorities have not yet concluded the exact cause. Investigations are ongoing, and police have stated that they will determine whether the blast was a targeted attack or an accidental detonation of an explosive device within the house.
