Banks to Remain Closed on 2nd Ramadan for Zakat Deduction

The State Bank of Pakistan has announced that all banks will remain closed on the 2nd of Ramadan (Monday) for Zakat deduction purposes.

According to the announcement, the banking sector will be closed for public transactions on the 1st of Ramadan as well. However, all bank employees will report to work as usual, except for public dealings.
