Quetta: The Balochistan Provincial Assembly convened meetings for four standing committees, during which the chairs of these committees were elected. Members of the assembly unanimously elected chairpersons for each committee. The Committee for Education, Literacy, Non-Formal Education, Higher Education, Presidential Program CDWP, Standard Education, and Science & Information Technology elected Khair Jan Baloch as their chairperson.
The Committee for Information, Sports & Culture, Tourism, Antiquities, Museums (Wonder House), and Libraries elected Rahmat Ali Baloch as their chairperson. Prince Ahmed Omar Ahmedzai was elected chairperson for the Committee on Irrigation & Energy, Environment, Forests, and Wildlife during their assembly. Lastly, Dr. Muhammad Nawaz was elected chairperson for the Committee on Public Health and Population Welfare during their assembly session.
