Balochistan National Party Leader Fatally Shot in Quetta

Quetta: Unknown assailants opened fire on Syed Khalid Shah, a central leader and member of the central executive committee of the Balochistan National Party (BNP-Mengal), on the Sariab Road near Kali Jio. Shah was critically injured and was rushed to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries during treatment.
Security forces arrived at the scene promptly. Preliminary reports suggest that the attack may have stemmed from personal grievances. BNP-Mengal leadership and party workers have begun to gather at the hospital in response to the incident.
