Balochistan National Party Announces Participation in Baloch Unity Committee’s Programs
Quetta: Senior Vice President of Balochistan National Party (BNP), Sajid Tarin Advocate, along with Central Human Rights Secretary Ahmed Nawaz Baloch, Musa Baloch, Shakila Naweed Dahwar, Ghulam Nabi Marri, Tikri Shafqat Lango, Mir Hamal Kalmati, Jameela Baloch, Shakoor Baloch, and others, announced during a press conference their full participation in all programs of the Baloch Unity Committee.
Sajid Tarin Advocate expressed condemnation over the Mustung incident, stating that violence against participants in peaceful caravans is unacceptable. He criticized the drama staged in the name of elections and denounced the placement of fake representatives in the assembly to suppress the genuine voice of Balochistan. He highlighted international concerns over electoral manipulation and cited instances of violence against innocent people, including women and children.
“The constitution allows the Baloch Unity Committee to hold meetings,” he added, referring to the firing on peaceful marches of Bannu residents. “The situation imposed by the establishment is alarming,” he warned, accusing authorities of alienating people from democratic processes. “Even today, people in Gwadar fear for their water,” he continued, pointing out the barriers imposed between Baloch and Pashtuns and the forced arming of the populace.
“The peaceful political paths for the people are being blocked,” he concluded, urging for a cessation of coercion towards armed resistance among the people.
This declaration underscores BNP’s commitment to supporting the Baloch Unity Committee’s efforts amidst escalating tensions in Balochistan.
