Balochistan MP Mina Maqeed Baloch Denounces Fake Video and Vows to Fight for Women’s Honor

Quetta:In a press conference held at the Quetta Press Club, Balochistan Provincial Assembly member Mina Maqeed Baloch addressed concerns regarding a fake video recently circulating on social media, which has been falsely associated with her. She stated that the video, which features a girl who was murdered two years ago, has been used to malign her reputation. The video, shared under the name “Maan Rang” in a WhatsApp group, has been propagated by Baloch Unity activists.

Maqeed Baloch emphasized that the smear campaign is not just about her, but about the honor of all women in Balochistan. She criticized the BYC (Baloch Youth Committee) for their role in spreading the fake video and underscored her commitment to fighting for the respect of women in the province. “This issue concerns the dignity of all women in Balochistan, not just me,” she declared, adding that legal action will be pursued against those responsible for the character assassination.
