Balochistan Interior Minister Criticizes Saboteurs of Gwadar’s Progress, Urges Unity and Focus on Development
Quetta:In a recent meeting held in Gwadar, Balochistan Interior Minister Mir Ziaullah Langove criticized those he described as “self-styled well-wishers” of Gwadar for obstructing both foreign and domestic investment in the region. Langove stressed that the people of Gwadar must choose between advancing the city’s development or falling prey to negative politics that could jeopardize their future.
Langove, addressing the meeting attended by Balochistan’s IG Police Abdul Khaliq Sheikh, Additional Secretary of the Interior Zahid Saleem via video link, and other high-ranking officials including the DC Gwadar and DIGs, discussed security arrangements and decisions related to maintaining peace and order in the province.
He condemned the practice of blocking streets and engaging in unjustified protests, attributing these actions to a few misguided individuals who are hindering the region’s progress. Langove emphasized that the government is committed to resolving issues through dialogue and upholding constitutional and legal processes.
The Minister appealed to mothers and sisters in the community to support efforts aimed at improving the future and ensuring prosperity. He highlighted the crucial role of women in nation-building and urged them to promote education and development rather than falling for divisive and separatist rhetoric.
Langove reiterated that the development of any nation relies on the contributions of its youth. He encouraged young people to focus on education and contribute positively to the country’s progress instead of resorting to violence.
