Balochistan Interior Minister Accuses Negative Politics of Hindering Development in Gwadar
Quetta:Balochistan’s Interior Minister Mir Ziaullah Langove has accused certain factions of using the name of Baloch identity to obstruct the development of Gwadar. In a statement on Sunday, he clarified that Gwadar is not being taken away from Balochistan but is being developed in collaboration with China.
Langove emphasized that Gwadar, which is an integral part of Balochistan, is essential for both provincial and national progress. He argued that negative politics must be curtailed to allow Gwadar to thrive. The Minister highlighted that if Gwadar’s development had been consistently pursued over the past 20 years, its residents would now be enjoying a prosperous life. He criticized those who, under the guise of Baloch identity, deliberately hinder development in Gwadar.
Langove also condemned the ongoing violence in Balochistan, stating that it is part of a broader effort to keep Gwadar and its people from progressing. He appealed to the people of Balochistan and Gwadar to reject protest politics aimed at stalling development and instead support efforts that will lead to future growth and prosperity for the region.
