Quetta : The Balochistan High Court’s Election Tribunal I, led by Justice Abdullah Baloch, has directed the verification of votes from seven polling stations in PB-46 Quetta-9 by NADRA. The tribunal’s decision follows a case involving Sardar Ahmed Khan Shahwani versus Prince Ahmed Omar Ahmedzai and others.
The court ordered the verification of Forms 45 and 47, along with the votes from these seven polling stations, to ascertain whether the election was conducted fairly or if any malpractices occurred. The ruling emphasizes that this step is crucial to reveal the true facts surrounding the election process.
Sardar Ahmed Khan Shahwani has been instructed to bear the full cost of the verification process. The case was represented by Advocate Muhammad Riaz Ahmed for the plaintiff and Amanullah Kanrani for Prince Ahmed Omar Ahmedzai.
