Quetta:In a recent statement, Balochistan government spokesperson Shahid Rind revealed that a prior agreement was made with the Baloch Unity Committee, signed by Dr. Mah Rang Baloch. Despite the government’s readiness to implement the agreement, progress has stalled due to the committee’s failure to end their ongoing protest.
Rind explained that the government had anticipated the end of the protest and subsequent implementation of the agreement. However, the committee has not taken the anticipated steps, leading to a continued deadlock. In response, the government has issued orders for the release of detained individuals and has requested the federal government to restore internet and mobile network services.
Currently, there is no sign of the committee’s willingness to acknowledge the agreement, and the impasse persists.
