Balochistan Communication Minister Conducts Surprise Visit to Ongoing Project, Orders Action Over Delays and Poor Quality

Quetta:Balochistan’s Provincial Minister for Communications and Construction, and Parliamentary Secretary of Pakistan Muslim League (N), Mir Saleem Ahmed Khoso, conducted a surprise visit to the ongoing project from Sohbatpur to Kashmore. During the visit, the minister found the SDOs (Sub-Divisional Officers) absent and ordered their suspension. Additionally, he issued a show-cause notice to the XEN (Executive Engineer) of Sohbatpur district for failing to ensure proper work.

Expressing his strong dissatisfaction, Minister Khoso stated that delays or negligence in any development projects in Sohbatpur district would not be tolerated. During the visit, he found that the project was suffering from poor material quality and slow progress. The minister emphasized that such irresponsibility and negligence would not be accepted in his constituency.

“I will be conducting surprise visits not only in my constituency but across the entire province,” Khoso declared. He further stated that improving the infrastructure in his constituency to meet modern standards and providing advanced facilities in every sector was his constant priority.

Khoso also highlighted the damage caused to the district, particularly the road infrastructure, due to recent rains and floods. He stressed that completing ongoing development projects, especially road infrastructure, in Sohbatpur district was now a top priority. The minister made it clear that if any further negligence was shown by the relevant staff, strict departmental action would be taken.

This move signifies a strong commitment to addressing delays and ensuring quality work in crucial development projects in Balochistan.
