Balochistan CM Sarfraz Bugti Claims Attempt to Create Unrest Under the Guise of Protests

Quetta:Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti has accused elements of attempting to create unrest in Balochistan under the guise of protests, asserting that recent incidents in the region are part of a larger conspiracy.

In a media briefing in Quetta, Chief Minister Bugti stated that Independence Day was celebrated magnificently across Balochistan. He extended congratulations to the entire nation on Independence Day and noted that Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar joined the celebrations. Additionally, he mentioned the inauguration of 21 NADRA centers in the province.

Bugti emphasized that security forces remain committed to eradicating terrorism and condemned the efforts to create disorder under the pretense of peaceful protests. He labeled the recent events in Balochistan as a conspiracy against the state.

Regarding the support for laborers’ children, Bugti announced that 500 children of workers would be sent to Islamabad for education, aiming to enable them to serve Pakistan and its people in the future.

On the topic of the recent murder of a Deputy Commissioner, Bugti condemned the brutal killing of DC Panjgur, Zakir Baloch. He assured support for the martyred official’s family, including a government job for the late DC’s wife, and vowed that they would not be left alone.

Bugti also addressed the resolution of transportation issues in Chaman and assured that the government is working on a reform agenda. He urged the people of Balochistan to avoid becoming part of any conspiracies.
