Balochistan CM Sarfraz Bugti Asserts Autonomy in Decision-Making, Addresses Corruption Concerns
Quetta:In an exclusive interview with Program Talk Shack, Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti declared his independence in decision-making, asserting that he holds 100% autonomy in provincial affairs without any external interference to date. Bugti emphasized that he accepts full responsibility for both successes and failures in the province, attributing attempts to remove him to his decisions aimed at improving Balochistan.
Despite acknowledging corruption issues in Balochistan, Bugti clarified that resolving these challenges is a gradual process, not achievable overnight. He expressed confidence in the leadership of the People’s Party and Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, affirming their complete trust in him.
Bugti also highlighted successful negotiations with the Maha Sangat Baloch, stating that future protests will be communicated to the government beforehand, ensuring proactive engagement. This development marks a positive step forward in handling regional dissent and fostering collaborative solutions.
