Balochistan CM Sardar Sarfaraz Bugti Inaugurates Science and Art Exhibition at Quetta School, Announces Cash Prizes
Quetta:Balochistan Chief Minister, Sardar Sarfaraz Bugti, inaugurated the *Jinnah Alight School Science and Art Exhibition* on Tuesday, marking a significant event aimed at promoting innovation and creativity among students. The event was attended by Provincial Education Minister, Raheela Hamid Khan Durrani, and the head of the institution, Sardar Osama Khan Tareen.
During the exhibition, the Chief Minister toured various science stalls set up by students and praised their scientific creations. He congratulated the students for their hard work and ingenuity, emphasizing the importance of such initiatives in shaping the future of the province.
In his speech, Chief Minister Sardar Sarfaraz Bugti expressed his optimism about Balochistan’s future, stating that it lies in the hands of hardworking and talented students. “Today’s students are tomorrow’s leaders and ambassadors of Balochistan,” he remarked. He further emphasized that from among these students, future Chief Ministers and Education Ministers will emerge. “We have great hopes and expectations from our future builders, and there is no doubt that Balochistan’s future is safe and capable in the hands of such talented youth.”
The Chief Minister also praised the progress made by Balochistan’s youth, both nationally and internationally, for showcasing their talent and achievements. He highlighted the need for a balanced education system in the province, combining traditional knowledge with modern, cutting-edge fields like Artificial Intelligence. “I am delighted to see AI-based projects at the exhibition today. Earlier, we only saw traditional education like ‘Alif Anar’ and ‘B Billi,’ but now we are seeing students embracing modern forms of learning,” he said.
Addressing the students, CM Sardar Sarfaraz Bugti urged them to continue cultivating a positive mindset and working toward progress. He also reaffirmed the importance of loyalty to Pakistan, stating, “Loyalty to Pakistan is not only a constitutional obligation but also a moral duty. History is a witness that those who remained loyal to Pakistan were honored by Allah, while those who betrayed it were disgraced.”
In recognition of the students’ efforts, the Chief Minister announced a cash award of PKR 1 million for the school, along with PKR 100,000 in cash prizes for the students who presented the best tableaus during the exhibition. This initiative is aimed at encouraging students to continue their hard work and dedication in the fields of science and art.
