Quetta:In a review meeting chaired by Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti, progress on development projects for the fiscal year 2024-25 was discussed. The Chief Minister instructed that all pending development projects should receive final approval from the relevant forums by August 28. He emphasized the importance of involving all concerned members of the assembly and accelerating the implementation of delayed departmental projects.
The meeting was briefed by the ACS Development on the progress of ongoing and new development projects included in the current fiscal year’s plan. The briefing covered sector-wise advancements and the authorization and release status of development projects.
Chief Minister Bugti underscored the necessity of timely approvals to ensure the swift completion of development projects, which are crucial for delivering benefits to the public. He stressed the need to overcome all obstacles to complete development schemes in a comprehensive and organized manner.
The meeting was attended by Provincial Finance Minister Mir Shoaib Nosherwani, Chief Secretary Balochistan Shakeel Qadir Khan, Additional Chief Secretary Planning and Development Hafiz Abdul Basit, and Secretary Finance, among other relevant officials.
