Quetta:In a speech on the occasion of August 14 celebrations at Ayub Stadium, Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti expressed concerns over what he described as a deliberate effort to alienate Baloch youth from the state. He criticized the involvement of women in these alleged conspiracies, stating that such actions are unprecedented in Baloch traditions.
Bugti condemned the recent tragic killing of Deputy Commissioner Zakar Baloch, emphasizing that the sacrifice of such individuals will never be forgotten. He paid tribute to all the martyrs, asserting that Pakistan will endure as a nation, with the blood of its brave individuals as its foundation. He also highlighted the enthusiastic celebration of Independence Day across various locations.
Addressing the issue of job distribution, Bugti vowed not to sell jobs and assured that the government would embrace its youth. He claimed that there are attempts to undermine the state’s authority in three areas, with efforts to mislead Baloch youth and involve women in these schemes. He questioned if Baloch traditions permit the violent treatment of Punjabis, referring to incidents of Punjabis being attacked when disembarking from buses.
Bugti reaffirmed that the state will never forgive those who commit injustices and will always stand with the oppressed. He called on those agitating against the state to return and be welcomed, stressing that the state will remain steadfast against oppression and support the oppressed.
