Quetta:Under the leadership of Chief Minister Mir Sanaullah Zehri, a crucial meeting was convened to assess matters pertaining to the upcoming session of the Joint Interests Council, where the province’s stance will be robustly presented at the federal level.
Addressing the session, the Chief Minister emphasized that Balochistan’s interests will be firmly defended in the forthcoming Joint Interests Council meeting, ensuring that all decisions are made keeping in view the broader public welfare. He reiterated the provincial government’s commitment to presenting Balochistan’s case comprehensively at the federal level and resolving matters with the federal government amicably for the overall development and prosperity of the province.
The Chief Minister reaffirmed his determination to make every effort to secure Balochistan’s due share from federal resources and revenues. The meeting was attended by Parliamentary Secretary Inter-Provincial Coordination Meena Majid, Chief Secretary Balochistan Shukat Qadir Khan, Secretary Inter-Provincial Relations Syed Sikander Shah, Secretary Irrigation Hafiz Abdul Majid, and Secretary Energy Bashir Ahmed Khan Bazai, among other relevant officials.
The discussions aimed to strategize effectively for the upcoming Joint Interests Council meeting to ensure Balochistan’s interests are well represented and safeguarded at the federal level.
