Quetta:Under the leadership of Provincial Minister for Education Rahila Hamid Khan Durrani, the sub-committee of the Balochistan Cabinet has finalized amendments to the Balochistan Universities Act 2022. According to a statement released on the social media platform (X) by Provincial Minister Rahila Hamid Durrani, the third and final meeting of the sub-committee was chaired by Provincial Minister for Planning and Development Mir Zahoor Ahmed Buledi and Provincial Minister for Livestock and Dairy Development Bakht Muhammad Kakar.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Mukhtar Ahmed, Chairperson of the Higher Education Commission (HEC), and Provincial Secretary Higher Education Hafiz Tahir. Members of the committee provided valuable input, and the sub-committee has given its amendments final shape. These amendments will be presented in the upcoming cabinet meetings for further consideration and subsequently presented to the Provincial Assembly for final approval.
