Quetta:Nawabzada Khalid Magsi, President of the Balochistan Awami Party and a Member of the National Assembly, extended his congratulations to the newly elected board of the Balochi Academy. Magsi praised the academy for its significant role in promoting the Balochi language and literature.
In his statement, Magsi commended the academy’s efforts and expressed confidence that under the leadership of prominent figures such as Heibatan Omar, Muhammad Sadiq Baloch, Zakir Qadir, Mumtaz Yousaf, Bezan Suba, Advocate Chingiz Isa, Muhammad Sadiq, and Shakeel Baloch, the Balochi Academy will continue to make significant progress.
Magsi affirmed the Balochistan Awami Party’s commitment to supporting the academy at all forums, emphasizing the importance of nurturing and developing regional languages as a means to societal progress. He also voiced support for the academy’s call against budget cuts and urged the provincial government to reverse its decision to reduce funding for the Balochi Academy.
