Quetta:The session of the Balochistan Assembly commenced on Monday with a delay of 40 minutes under the chairmanship of Speaker Abdul Khaliq Achakzai. Maulana Hidayatullah Rahman, having separated from the government, joined the opposition benches during the session.
During the assembly, the standing committee’s report on the Defence Housing Authority 2024 was presented, while Finance Minister Mir Shoaib Nosherwani presented special audit reports on the accounts of Expo 2020-21, provincial Zakat funds, and district Zakat committees for 2023-24. The assembly referred all audit reports to the Public Accounts Committees for further review.
