Balochistan Assembly Forms 18-Member Young Parliamentarians Forum
Quetta:The Balochistan Assembly has established a new 18-member Young Parliamentarians Forum, comprising members aged 45 years or younger. The forum was formally announced by the Speaker of the Balochistan Assembly on Friday.
According to the statement released, the primary aim of forming the forum is to bring forward young leadership and ensure their active participation in the legislative process. The forum is intended to create a platform where younger lawmakers can engage in lawmaking, policy discussions, and play a significant role in shaping the future of the province.
The members of the 18-member Young Parliamentarians Forum include provincial ministers and legislators such as Bakht Mohammad Kakhar, Sardar Koheyar Domki, Meena Maqid, Samad Khan, Liaquat Ali Lahri, Muhammad Zareen Khan Magsi, Sanjay Kumar, Hadiya Nawaz, Asghar Ali Tareen, Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman, Syed Zafar Agha, Mir Jhanzaib Mengal, Obaidullah Gorgij, Sheikh Zark Khan Mandokhel, Rawi Pohuja, Salma Bibi, Umm Kulthoom, and Safiya Bibi.
This initiative reflects a significant step towards empowering younger members of the provincial assembly, allowing them to contribute meaningfully to the province’s legislative and policy-making processes.
